Help us take 35 children to camp

Summer Camp 2022! Every year La VIA Community Center organizes a week long summer camp at a campground. We bring 35 kids, along with a team of staff and volunteers. At camp there are days filled with organized games, chapel, bible study, songs, art, swimming, sports and much more. The kids will have a safe place to learn more about God's love for them, eat well and just have fun.

Summer Camp will offer children an uninterrupted time away from the noise of the city, surrounded by safe adults, in an environment where they can learn, grow and build greater trust in themselves, in God and in others.

This year we have fewer staff, but will collaborate with a local church at a new camp that can host up to 200 children and leaders at one time. The cost is just $120/child for one week at a well-equipped camp facility that includes a professional size pool, a rock-climbing wall, volleyball and soccer field.

We need your financial support to help send each child to camp this year. Your support will help cover the cost of camp itself: the room and board, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the art activities, and the transportation to and from camp. Every donation will go a long way. Thank you!
